What does ConnectedSF Institute do?
We simplify civic engagement by making it easier for San Franciscans to stay informed and involved in local government. That means monitoring City Hall and notifying residents when decisions impact them, offering nonpartisan training and public education on how local government works, and providing platforms for dialogue and information exchange across the city. We don’t tell people what to think — we make sure they know how to participate.

Who runs ConnectedSF Institute?
We’re everyday San Franciscans, civic-minded, solutions-oriented, and driven by the belief that common-sense voices deserve a seat at the table. Our team comes from outside the political machine. We don’t cut backroom deals, and we don’t chase power. We build infrastructure so residents can speak up, get involved, and make change.

Are InspireSF and ConnectedSF Institute the same?
Yes! ConnectedSF Institute is the name we operate under as a Doing Business As (DBA) for InspireSF. While InspireSF is the legal entity, we use "ConnectedSF Institute" as our public-facing name for programs, outreach, and communications. So while the names may differ, it’s the same organization behind both.
