San Francisco Transportation Authority Board
The San Francisco Transportation Authority (SFCTA) Board is made up of all 11 San Francisco Supervisors, who also serve as the city’s Transportation Authority Board.
The Chair of the Transportation Authority Board is Myrna Melgar (D7) and Vice-Chair is Danny Sauter (D3).

The Board of Supervisors is the legislative branch of the City and County of San Francisco. The Board consists of 11 members. Each member is elected on a non-partisan basis from a district where he or she lives.

Northern District SFPD Station Captain’s Community Meeting
Not every district throughout San Francisco has a police station located within its borders, but each has anywhere from two to six stations serving its residents. Each month, SFPD station captains host meetings to provide community members with an opportunity to connect, ask questions and hear updates about their area. These meetings provide insight, bring communities together and give residents an opportunity to connect with and learn more about what’s happening in their neighborhoods.

The Budget and Finance Committee shall be referred appropriation ordinances, and measures concerning bond issues, taxes, fees and other revenue measures, redevelopment, grants, and real estate.
The Budget and Finance Committee shall be comprised of three full-time members, and shall convene year-round, except during Board recesses, according to a schedule determined by the chair of the Committee.

SFMTA Board of Directors
The SFMTA Board of Directors provides policy oversight for the safe and efficient movement of people and goods in San Francisco in accordance with the San Francisco Charter and the Transit-First Policy. This includes the San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni), automobiles and trucks, taxis, bicycling and walking. The SFMTA Board of Directors also serves as members of the San Francisco Parking Authority. The SFMTA Board of Directors generally meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm. in Room 400, City Hall. Members of the public can attend or view meetings on SFGovTV2.
The Office of the SFMTA Board of Directors administers the affairs of the Board of Directors, coordinates the meetings of the Citizens’ Advisory Council and oversees the SFMTA’s responses to all requests for public records.
